Shares in Haydale Graphene Inds PLC (LSE:HAYD, OTC:HDGHF) jumped 11% on Thursday after the advanced materials group struck a strategic collaboration with Interfloor, Europe’s largest manufacturer of carpet underlay.
The deal will see Haydale’s graphene-enabled JustHeat inserts integrated into Interfloor’s flooring systems, with new ready-to-install heating products due to launch in the second half of 2026.
Interfloor’s global customer base, spanning more than 70 countries and 2,000 UK outlets, provides Haydale with a major route to market.
The company also reported progress in reducing costs, cutting overheads by 70% over the past year, and expanding production capacity through a new facility in China.
Chief executive Simon Turek said the partnership marked “a transformational step” for commercialisation.
The shares rose 0.06p to 0.6p.
