News from the insurance sector will be front and centre next week as Aviva and Admiral both line up to report, while Flutter Entertainment is also set to feature.
First though, landscaping product manufacturer Marshalls will report on Monday, offering an interim update after rivals have warned over tough conditions in the market.
Flutter will then update on Tuesday, with tax and unfavourable US sporting results threatening to dominate the betting firm’s interims.
Aviva and Admiral are set to delve into trading in the insurance sector on Wednesday and Thursday respectively, with infrastructure firm Balfour in line to update too.
Inflation is also set to be a heavy theme next week as consumer price index readings come from both the US and UK on Wednesday, with updates on jobs and GDP in the latter due as well… Read the macro preview
