The new Seeing Machines Ltd (AIM:SEE, OTC:SEEMF) driver monitoring system (DMS) launched today is significant for the company, say analysts at Stifel, as it provides a feature-rich product at a much lower production cost "and can therefore catalyse revenues in this division".

A 'buy' rating was reiterated along with a share price target of 15p, versus the last closing price in London of 5.32p.

Faron Pharmaceuticals Limited (AIM:FARN, OTC:FPHAF) has marked a significant step in the BEXMAB trial by administering the first dose of bexmarilimab to a patient with myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS) who did not respond to standard hypomethylating agents (HMAs).

MDS is a type of blood cancer where the bone marrow produces poorly functioning blood cells. HMAs, commonly used in treating MDS, work by modifying DNA to promote healthy cell function. However, some patients do not respond to these treatments, presenting a critical need for new therapies.

Seeing Machines Ltd (AIM:SEE, OTC:SEEMF) told investors it will lift the bonnet on the latest version of its driver monitoring system (DMS), Guardian Generation 3, at CES 2024 in Las Vegas today.

Guardian Generation 3 has been independently tested to meet new European drowsiness detection regulations coming into force this summer, the company said. The rules require all new cars, vans, trucks and buses to be equipped with drowsiness and attention warning (DDAW) systems from 6 July.
