Ikea has warned of shipment delays due to recent attacks on vessels in the Red Sea.

BP PLC (LSE:BP.) is to donate £50 million to help pay for the renovation of the British Museum in Bloomsbury, London, reigniting the debate about greenwashing by major oil companies and fossil fuel-producing countries.

The oil giant will provide the cash over 10 years to help with the 'Masterplan' renovation, said the museum, adding it was the biggest corporate donation so far to UK arts.

Genel Energy PLC (LSE:GENL, OTC:GEGYY) told investors that gross production from the Tawke licence continues to climb, with the average rate in the month of December (to date) "approaching" 90,000 barrels of oil per day (bopd).

Operated by Mubadala Energy, the oil and gas arm of Abu Dhabi’s Mubadala Investment Company, the Layaran-1 well on the South Andaman licence produced at a rate of 30 million cubic feet a day. That's the crude oil equivalent of 5,300 barrels.
