GGX Gold Corp's Gold Drop property in situated in one of the most prolific gold-copper mining camps of North America, the Greenwood-Republic mining camp. The current 2019 drill program is following up on the 2018 drilling which intercepted high grade gold-silver results (129 g/t gold and 1,154 g/t silver over 7.28 meters) from the near surface COD vein which is projected to be 1.5 km in length. In addition tellurium grades were announced with up to 3,860 g/t tellurium, including 823 g/t tellurium over 7.28-meter core length and 640 g/t tellurium over 6.90-meter core length.

The group said that diamond drilling is now commencing on the Perky vein, a new discovery vein, where promising assay results were obtained from surface trenching this year
Seven rock samples were collected from the Perky vein, of which one was a grab sample and six were channel samples
Results from one sample taken from the Amandy vein included one surface grab sample that assayed 23.5 grams per ton (g/t) gold, 437 g/t silver, 198 g/t tellurium and 0.7% lead
The group said the planned drilling program at the property is well underway with 1,834.5 meters (m) being completed in 11 holes
The first hole is testing the geophysical anomaly that was identified by Earth Science Services Corporation of Ontario (ESSCO)
The high grade, near surface COD vein has been an exploration focus at the company's asset in the Greenwood mining camp, in British Columbia
The test at the Gold Drop property could result in the discovery of a new gold deposit or even a new gold deposit type, according to GGX
The first trench will be on the C.O.D. vein at its southern end where some of the world's best gold intercepts were reported last year
Targets identified for this year include the C.O.D. vein area, the Rhoderick Dhu area, and the Gold Drop mine area
GGX also announced a placing to raise C$300,000 gross to fund continued exploration, including diamond drilling and trenching at Gold Drop
Among the work was a deep drill hole to test a large geophysical anomaly at the property
This year, a total of 3,160 m were drilled in 49 holes to test the COD and COD North veins
