“Confirmation of a positive well investment decision from Shell to test the Pensacola prospect is a very welcome outcome," says Stifel.
It's expected that the well will be drilled in May 2022
Investor Richard Sneller has increased his stake in the company to over 10%.
Shell is committed to drill at least two high impact wells in the coming years

The North Sea firm is now turning its efforts to finding and selecting the best partner to advance the asset

A broader portfolio highlighted that the Cadence prospect, estimated at nearly 600mln barrels, could potentially be 'fast-tracked' to drilling - subject to a farm-out
