"We are delighted to finally receive government approval of the farm-out," said chief executive Robert Ambrose.
"Aminex remains hopeful and looks to the Tanzanian authorities for a prompt resolution as the window of opportunity to complete the farm-out is clearly closing," said Robert Ambrose.
“The company is doing everything it can to obtain final government approval of the farm-out."
"We have taken the opportunity to rebalance the board of directors with the appointment of two independent directors," said interim chief executive Robert Ambrose.
The farm-out is expected to complete soon and resulting funds should cover the company financially until May 2021
The junior said partner ARA Petroleum and itself continue to work closely with the Tanzania authorities to obtain government approval
