Powerhouse Energy Group PLC (AIM:PHE, ETR:BT81) (PHE) said the University of Manchester has received a grant to work with the company on a new technique that extracts hydrogen from synthesis gas.
A team of researchers at the university, led by Dr Amir Keshmiri, will work with PHE on the project, which is initially funded by an EPSRC Impact Acceleration Account grant from UK Research and Innovation.
