Wizz Air Holdings PLC (AIM:WIZZ) is expected to post substantial yearly gains during the Hungarian budget airline’s second-quarter 2023 earning call on Wednesday, November 2.
Analysts at UBS forecast quarterly revenues to more than double to €1,33mln (£1.15mln), compared to €681mln in 2022.
Net income is expected to reverse from losses of -€6mln last year to €106mln in the black, with an EBIT estimation of €213mln.
The AIM-quoted airline reported a 50% increase in its passenger numbers in September as it continued to “grow its network and improve its customer offering”.
However, a downturn in 2023 is expected as higher prices face weaker consumer demand.
