Scancell Holdings PLC (AIM:SCLP, OTC:SCNLF), the developer of novel immunotherapies for the treatment of cancer and infectious disease, has reported its financial results for the year ended 30 April 2022 and issued a business update on progress achieved post-period.

In the statement, professor Lindy Durrant, chief executive officer of Scancell, commented: "It has been a year of strong operational and clinical progress for Scancell with three vaccine candidates now in the clinic and the antibody platforms gathering momentum with expanded internal research and external validation.

Iofina PLC (AIM:IOF, OTC:IOFNF) news that the starting gun has been fired on its next growth phase, with new brine supply agreements for its latest iodine plant expansion concluded, paving the way for construction to begin should "be well received" according to analysts at finnCap.

The 'house' broker's analysts said: "This will be Iofina’s sixth operating iodine plant; with an anticipated construction time of just six months and an expected capacity of 100-150 MT, it will rapidly and materially boost Iofina’s iodine production and deliver a fast payback on investment."

Allergy Therapeutics PLC (AIM:AGY, OTC:AGYTF) 'house' broker finnCap says news that the company expects to restart production at its UK manufacturing site on 14 November is "welcome news".

However, the City broker's analysts noted that the circa 7-week voluntary shut-down falls in the peak production months in preparation for dosing patients ahead of the pollen season in the spring.

Greatland Gold PLC (AIM:GGP, OTC:GRLGF) reiterated work so far on the Havieron gold and copper deposit was just the "tip of the iceberg" for the project.
