SensOre Ltd (ASX:S3N) has demonstrated the effectiveness of its Discriminant Predictive Targeting® (DPT) technology with the discovery of a basement gold mineralised system at Yilgarn Exploration Ventures’ (YEV) North Darlot property in Western Australia’s Goldfields.
YEV is part-owned by SensOre (60%) and Gold Road (40%), which recently acquired S3N’s joint venture (JV) partner DGO Gold.
SensOre’s DPT workflow platform is designed to create geological data cubes for prospective mineral regions. The technology is capable of defining discrete exploration targets within cover sequences and in basement contacts below non-mineralised rock cover.
In June this year, S3N used this AI-based DPT technology to predict the presence of two mineralised gold corridors at North Darlot.

The gold finds have since been backed up with a round of aircore drilling and now by further reverse circulation (RC) drilling, which returned results including:
- 7 metres at 1.11 g/t gold from 52 metres, including 1-metre at 5.13 g/t and 14 metres at 0.63 g/t from 68 metres within a broad lower grade intercept of 30 metres at 0.56 g/t from 52 metres; and
- 11 metres at 0.41 g/t from 58 metres and 10 metres at 0.55 g/t from 88 metres within a broad lower grade intercept of 45 metres at 0.27 g/t from 53 metres
Another successful gold discovery
“The drill results indicate we are on to another gold mineral system by utilising our technology,” SensOre CEO Richard Taylor said.
“The results suggest an east dip of the mineralised zone, away from the boundary and into our tenement, highlighting the potential of the western part of the tenement.”
SensOre highlights that these results underscore the untested potential of the west end of the project (Journey Prospect) which hosts 5 kilometres of potential strike.
The company now intends to complete a follow-up RC and diamond drilling program, to further define and explore the potential of the project and its technology.
