SensOre's proprietary AI technology pinpoints two gold corridors at North Darlot

Aircore drilling results, fielded by SensOre subsidiary Yilgarn Exploration Ventures, support the presence of two gold targets predicted by AI-targeting technology.

SensOre Ltd (ASX:S3N)’s flagship technology asset DPT® has pinpointed drill targets for Yilgarn Exploration Ventures’ North Darlot drill program, near Leinster in Western Australia’s Goldfields region.

The self-described geoscience technology disruptor used AI to predict two new gold corridors, which have since been confirmed following an aircore drilling campaign.

Early results include:

  • 1-metre at 1.08 g/t gold from 53 metres, end of hole;
  • 4 metres at 0.11 g/t from 32 metres;
  • 4 metres at 0.11 g/t gold from 32 metres; and
  • 12 metres at 0.11 g/t from 60 metres.

Yilgarn, in which SensOre has a 60% interest, is very encouraged by these aircore results and is making plans for a deeper follow-up RC and diamond drilling program.

Slimline RC drilling results testing several structural and stratigraphic geological units are pending.

New drilling breaks through cover

North Darlot is a large, under-explored tenement in a regional fertile corridor, 25 kilometres north of Red 5’s Darlot-Centenary Gold Mine and 45 kilometres southeast of Northern Star’s Bronzewing operations.

Yilgarn’s 2022 aircore and reverse circulation (RC) program aimed to test the underlying sequence below the transported cover and leached upper saprolite.

Most historical drilling failed to penetrate the thick transported cover material or the depleted residual regolith and leached bedrock, while the 2022 program managed to reach the lower saprolite weathering horizon.

Yilgarn is earning an 85% interest in the project, held by prospector Andrew Paterson.

Modern, higher-power drilling rigs

SensOre CEO Richard Taylor said: “The aircore results are very encouraging and support our and [partner] DGO’s efforts to date on the project.

“The use of modern, higher power drilling rigs supplied by our business partner Kennedy Drilling have enabled us to open up new areas of gold potential.

“We look forward to the RC drill results and are already planning a follow-up drilling program to extensively test the project.”

Extended mineralisation

The intersection extends gold mineralisation 250 metres north of historical mineralisation encountered in the area and remains open to the north.

Together, the mineralisation at the north and southern ends of the western target highlight the project’s potential to host mineralisation over an 8-kilometre strike length.
