Newstead-Sinclair will be responsible for communication with the ASX in relation to listing rule matters, pursuant to ASX Listing Rule 12.6.
About FAR Ltd (ASX:FAR)
FAR is an independent Africa-focused oil and gas exploration and development company with several assets in West Africa and Australia.
The company has recently brought on board a chief financial officer, interim MD, and non-executive director to pursue a farm-down of FAR’s working interest in its Gambian assets and the eventual offtake or demerging of said projects.
“While we continue to focus on our core expertise as an oil and gas exploration company, we are seeking to extract maximum value for our exploration assets in The Gambia by way of farm-out with a financial carry, an outright sale or ultimately a demerger,” FAR independent chair Patrick O’Connor said in an announcement in March this year.
“The board is focused on the careful management of the balance sheet and the unlocking of shareholder value.”
