Ariana Resources PLC (AIM:AAU) posted higher profits in 2021 as it booked a gain of £6.4mln on the disposal of a big chunk of its gold mining interests in Turkey.
The junior cut its stake in the Kiziltepe mine and Salinbas project to 23.5% from 50%, with the gain helping profits in 2021 rise to £7.7mln from £5.1m with the sales generating £27mln overall.
Graft Polymer (UK) PLC hailed the progress made since its initial public offering in January as it reported final results for 2021.
“This has been a period of growth for us, particularly since listing [in January], with a number of milestones reached,” Victor Bolduev, chief executive, said.

ATOME Energy PLC (AIM:ATOM) said it is looking to complete front-end engineering design (FEED) of its Villeta green hydrogen project in Paraguay and begin construction in the first half of next year.
In a statement ahead of its annual shareholder meeting today in London, the AIM-listed company said that is targeting the appointment of a FEED contractor for Villeta by the third quarter of this year and aims to make a final investment decision on the project by the end of 2022, after hiring AECOM to oversee the project earlier this month.
4D Pharma PLC (AIM:DDDD, NASDAQ:LBPS, OTC:FRPRF) has said it will delist from the Nasdaq share market in the US. This follows Friday’s announcement that the drug developer had been placed into administration.
Union Jack Oil PLC (AIM:UJO) said its planned capital reduction will now go through the court procedure after the proposal was passed in a special resolution at its annual general meeting on 23 June. The capital reduction involves an application to the High Court of Justice, followed by two court hearings, where the courts will consider whether any creditors will be prejudiced by the capital reduction.
