Sky UK Ltd, former chief consumer officer Lyssa McGowan has officially taken the helm as Pets at Home Group PLC's chief executive.
McGowan, who was appointed to the board as CEO designate on 25 April, has taken over from Peter Pritchard, who announced he would step down last November.

Once a private equity-owned asset, the pet care business grew turnover by 15.3% to approximately £1.32bn in the year through to March 31, boosting its pre-tax profit and share price. Its shares have gained about 22% since it reported its full-year results last week.
McGowan was responsible for about US$10bn of revenue at Sky and has previously served as a non-executive director at Morrison Supermarkets PLC.
