Guild Esports FIFA-player Nicolas Villalba wins EA Sports FIFA 22 eChampions League

Guild Esports PLC (LSE:GILD, OTC:GULDF) said its FIFA pro-player, Nicolas Villalba (Nicolas99fc), took first place in Europe's prestigious EA Sports FIFA 22 eChampions League on 27 May, securing the global teams organisation and lifestyle brand its sixth major international trophy.

Villalba, who has been part of Guild's FIFA esports roster since December last year, took home the US$75,000 top prize at the tournament, and with the win has also secured a place in the FIFA 22 Global Series Playoffs in July.
