VRX Silica Ltd (ASX:VRX)'s Bruce Maluish tells Ky Chow about why sand is such a high demand commodity at the moment and some of the regulatory requirements the company needs to overcome. In March the company had its environmental scoping document approved, which is a big part of the EPA approvals process, and the ball is now in the regulator's court. Silica sand is the "most used commodity on the planet", Bruce tells Ky, and yet global supplies are low.
