Galliford Try Holdings PLC (LSE:GFRD) announced its non-executive chairperson Peter Ventress will step down on 15 September after more than seven years on the board, to be replaced by Alison Wood.

Sovereign Metals Ltd (ASX:SVM, AIM:SVML) has encountered the highest rutile grades to date in assay results from a 2021 drilling program at the flagship Kasiya-Nsaru Project in Malawi, increasing the drill-defined mineralised footprint by 28% to 165 square kilometres.

Sovereign has determined that the Kasiya and Nsaru deposits are a single, very large, coherent body of near-surface rutile and graphite mineralisation.
