ANGLE PLC (AIM:AGL, OTCQX:ANPCY) has taken an important step towards gaining accreditation for a US lab that will help showcase the commercial potential of its Parsortix liquid biopsy system.
The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) has issued a certificate of registration, the company said in a statement.
The approval process will be completed with a CMS audit, which includes an inspection of the facilities and documentation on the validation of assays along with quality control procedures.
Parsortix is developing laboratories in both the US and UK that are intended as accelerators for sales of and demonstrators of Parsortix instruments and cassettes.
