Rosslyn Data Technologies makes 'good progress' but says COVID-19 impacts contract lead times

It expects revenue for the current financial year to be no less than £6mln

Rosslyn Data Technologies PLC (AIM:RDT) said it "made good progress" this financial year but added lead times for contracts have been impacted by Coronavirus (COVID-19).

In the year so far, the company secured deals with a top ten global pharmaceutical business, a top three global beverage company and a top five UK Law firm.

It has also taken steps to exit non-profitable business lines to focus on larger, more profitable contracts, but noted pandemic restrictions have lengthened the lead times on contracts.

As a results of these challenges, it now has a more conservative view on the outcome for the current year and expects revenue to be no less than £6mln, with annual rate recurring revenue (ARR) of at least £5.1mln and a corresponding impact on EBITDA.

"Like many businesses we have not been immune to the effects of the pandemic and this is reflected in our anticipated financial performance for the current calendar year,” said chief executive Paul Watt.

“However, with a refreshed leadership team, a great core product and a clear strategy now in place I believe that there are significant opportunities available to the group to drive growth and deliver shareholder value and am excited to look to the future."

The company has invested heavily in developing the next generation of its core RAPiD product, which it will launch before the end of March this year.

The product is currently in beta testing and feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, it said.
