Kazera Global slides as impact of Covid-19 causes delay in publication of annual results

A look at some of the major movers in London on Christmas Eve

Kazera Global PLC (AIM:KZG) slipped 11% to 1.05p after it was granted an extra three months to publish its results for the year to 30 June 2021.

AIM Regulation has granted the investment company an additional period of up to three months until 31 March 2022 to publish the results, which have been delayed as a consequence of the impact of Covid-19 in Kazera's countries of operations.

Despite the logistical challenges presented by Covid-19, the company confirmed that the audit process is currently being finalised.

9.05am: Deepmatter plunges as it announces deeply discounted share issue

Deepmatter Group PLC shares plunged by two-fifths to 0.375p after it tapped the market for funds.

The digital chemistry data company is seeking to raise £2.55mln through the issue of shares at 0.1p each.

As discounted offerings go, that’s a heavy one but at least existing shareholders will get the chance to buy new shares at the same price through an open offer.

The morning’s top riser is Thruvision Group PLC (AIM:THRU), which is up 11% at 26p after the executive chairman, Tom Black, bought 1.8mln shares in the company.

Black paid 22.7725p a share.

The purchase takes his stake up to 13.2mln shares, representing 9.0% of the company, which describes itself as a provider of "safe distance" people-screening technology to the international security market.

Sounds like just the thing for the current environment.
