Playtech PLC (AIM:PTEC) said the second half of the year started strongly in July and August following a dip in revenues in the previous six months.
The online gaming and sports betting software developer said it expected the B2B and B2C online businesses to continue to deliver strong performances, though the macroeconomic outlook remains uncertain as there may be more lockdowns in the near future.

In the six months ended 30 June, revenue fell 4% to €457mln, while adjusted underlying earnings (EBITDA) increased 13% to €124mln.
Results were in line with expectations, with online operations offsetting the impact of the longer than expected retail closures in Italy.
A statement said B2B online delivered a strong performance, especially Caliente and Snaitech's online business.
Americas is now the group's biggest growth driver.
