Cobalt Blue CEO shows confidence in integrated cobalt supply strategy with on-market purchase

The Global Cobalt Sample Program incorporating the Pilot Plant is nearing conclusion and the company will then transition to a larger Demonstration Plant.

Cobalt Blue Holdings Ltd (ASX:COB) (OTCMKTS:CBBHF) (FRA:COH) chief executive officer director Joe Kaderavek has demonstrated his faith in the company’s integrated cobalt supply strategy with an on-market purchase of shares.

Kaderavek acquired 172,413 shares in an indirect interest on July 7 at A$0.29 per share for a total value of almost A$50,000.

The number of securities held in that interest has increased to 3,873,279 with another 2,569,866 held in another indirect interest.

Attracting interest for cobalt samples

COB has been attracting interest from potential customers and partners as a result of the Global Cobalt Sample Program producing commercial Mixed Hydroxide Product (MHP) sourced from the Broken Hill Cobalt Project (BHCP).

This product, along with cobalt sulphate, is being produced from the company’s Pilot Plant in Broken Hill in Far West New South Wales for the sample program, which is expected to conclude early this quarter.

The program is serving as a catalyst to begin commercial dialogue and the company recently hosted a commercial partner visit with further interaction expected in the second half of the year as investor/partner due diligence proceeds.
