Rosslyn Data Technologies PLC (LON:RDT) said revenue increased in the year ended 30 April 2021 in spite of the impact of Coronavirus (COVID-19) lockdowns.
Over the twelve months, sales at the big data specialist rose 4% to £7.4mln (2020: £7.1mln), it said in a statement. Underlying operating profits [EBITDA] will be in line with market expectations with a loss of around £250,000 (2020:profit £36,000).
Cash at the year-end was £6.7mln (2020: £0.8mln), while bank debt amounted to £0.9mln.
Paul Watts, chief executive, said: "This past financial year has been one of investment, which has provided us with a solid platform on which we can capitalise and grow as the global economy starts to return to some degree of normality.
"After taking over as CEO, I have instigated operational reviews across the business, with the view to targeting investment for organic growth in the areas where it will deliver the best return. "
Rosslyn added that Ash Mehta, Chief Financial Officer, will leave at the end of August to pursue another opportunity.
