Advanced Material Development (AMD) has won another award as part of its ongoing collaborative camouflage work with the United States Army.
Richard Lee, AMD's chief commercial officer, said: "We are delighted to continue the development of our metamaterial based frequency reflector technology into 2021 and are now in discussions with colleagues at the Army Research Labs regarding development of prototype systems throughout 2022 and 2023."
This follows November's extension to ongoing nanomaterials work with the US Army Research Lab on an electromagnetic emissions camouflage system using a novel metamaterial-based frequency reflector.
