IXICO to use Microsoft's cloud-based AI infrastructure to scale-up

IXICO continues to scale up in the highly regulated clinical trials environment

IXICO PLC (LON:IXI) is to work with Microsoft Corporation to develop IXICO’s artificial intelligence (AI) data analytics platform.

Combining IXICO's portfolio of AI data analytics and scientific expertise in neurological diseases with Microsoft's cloud-based AI infrastructure will provide a significant enabler for IXICO's delivery of clinical trial analytics solutions, at scale, to the pharmaceutical industry, the AIM-listed firm said.

The two companies will work together to deliver IXICO's AI solutions into global clinical trials for neurological diseases such as Alzheimer's disease and Huntington's disease by enhancing IXICO's large-scale data processing capabilities. These capabilities will set the foundation for an expanded range of differentiated and proprietary AI-driven services, assisting IXICO's customers in their efforts to address significant unmet medical needs.

#IXI collab with Microsoft - combine ixico’s AI analytics data with Microsoft’s AI cloud will provide a significant enabler “at scale”. At scale is key here, growth within a bigger system! Sounds like it will be a long term benefit, short term cost increase? I hold.

"The partnership with Microsoft ensures we remain at the forefront of data analytics required by our global pharmaceutical clients, to provide new and valuable insights to reduce both the high cost of drug development and the time to market for urgently needed drugs across a wide range of neurological diseases,” said Giulio Cerroni, the chief executive of IXICO.
