The ASI is the largest media, marketing and education organisation in the world, serving the US$24.7bn US promotion products industry through a network of over 23,500 distributors, decorators and suppliers.
Altitude, which specialises in promotional products, said that as a result of the alliance its own AIM Smarter Portal and AIM Tech suite now have access to the ASI’s ESP database of products and suppliers, the largest of its kind in North America.
The company said that expanding the number of suppliers it has access to will widen its product range and geographic spread, while also increasing the attractiveness of its AIM offering to members. The expanded range is due to roll out in the first quarter of this year.
“The integration of ASI's flagship research tool, ESP, into AIM's powerful Tech Suite…immediately increases the attractiveness of the AIM Tech Suite and its usage across the AIM membership”, said Altitude chief executive Nichole Stella.
“The integration of the ASI data into all facets of our technology and tools will further enhance member efficiency through technology, increase engagement, highlight trends and strengthen data insights to help maximize the [return on investment] for both sides of the marketplace", the CEO added.
The deal sent shares in the firm 12% higher to 53.7p in early deals on Monday.
