Vodafone PLC (LON:VOD) is set to net around €250mln (£212mln) by selling its Maltese business to Monaco Telecom (MT).
The FTSE 100 telecoms firm said MT had agreed to acquire the business for a cash consideration equivalent to its enterprise value, implying the €250mln price tag.

Vodafone is expecting the sale to complete in the first quarter of next year, after which Vodafone Malta will continue to operate under the same brand for a transitional period.
The shares were 0.3% lower at 150.1p in early deals on Thursday.
