The agreement with South African event organiser WORLDSPORT will see the media group stage and promote BRICKLIVE shows in the country, with the first to take place in Cape Town in the first half of next year.
The company will also provide the JV with content while WORLDSPORT will promote and organise shows and tours.
Live Company’s chairman, David Ciclitira, said establishing partnerships with firms in the southern hemisphere will allow the group to “maximise the utilisation of [its] assets during the European winter months”.
Super Series attracts 85,000 visitors
Meanwhile, the company said its BRICKLIVE Super Series of events, held across Europe from mid-September to early November, had been “well received” with nearly 85,000 visitors attending over the six shows.
The number of BRICKLIVE events due to occur in 2019 has also risen to 70 and is expected to rise again before year-end, the group said.
“If I look back to the same period two years ago, BRICKLIVE had only one event. To already have hit 70 events this year demonstrates the tremendous demand for the BRICKLIVE brand, which I fully expect to grow year on year”, Ciclitira said.
