Rosslyn Data Technologies PLC (LON:RDT) has snapped up bulk supply chain data specialist Langdon Systems from the administrators for less than £50,000 cash.
Langdon handles tasks like reporting and data mining for around 60 blue-chip clients, with its strength lying in import and export duty management systems, for both on-premise and cloud-based software.
Rosslyn, which has acquired the IP, software, assets, client list and associated contracts alongside a range of domain names, noted that there was little or no overlap on its client base.
“This acquisition will allow us to apply our master data management, data mining, reporting and visualisation expertise to another key element in the supply chain for a diverse client base,” said chief executive Roger Bullen.
He plans to migrate Langdon’s software onto Rosslyn’s systems and hopes to be able to leverage client relationships to drive revenue to its RAPid platform over time.
