From yesterday: Expanded drill programme underway

NORTHLAND VIEW

 Botswana Diamonds has extended drilling by eight holes at the Thorny River Project, formerly referred to as Zebediela Project, to test a new anomaly on the Hartbeesfontein farm which the Company believes is a potential kimberlite pipe or blow.

 A bulk sample is expected to commence shortly with the aim of recovering enough diamonds to take total diamond recovery on site up to 500cts.

 The Company aims to have produce an Inferred Mineral Resource Estimate by the end of the year.

Botswana Diamonds has now completed its delineation drilling on the Frischgewaagt and Doornrivier farm but has extended the drill programme after geophysics defined what could potentially be a kimberlite pipe or blow on the Hartbeesfontein farm. Eight holes will now be drilled on this anomaly to fully evaluate its size. Definition of kimberlite pipe or blow could add a significant volume of kimberlite material project, significantly increasing its attractiveness.

COMPANY DESCRIPTION

Botswana Diamonds is a diamond focused exploration company that has a joint venture with Alrosa in Botswana, an interest in the Maibwe discovery also in Botswana and an interest in 10 prospecting rights that contains 20 kimberlites, in South Africa.
