Galan Lithium non-executive director buys shares on-market

Recent geophysics and now drilling indicate the potential of Galan’s Candelas project to host a substantial volume of lithium brine.

Galan Lithium Ltd (ASX:GLN) non-executive director Christopher Chalwell has shown confidence in the company’s Argentina-focused lithium strategy through on-market share purchases.

Chalwell acquired 50,000 shares and now holds more than 2.5 million shares in direct and indirect interests.

READ: Galan Lithium’s preliminary field tests indicate aquifer potential at Candelas Lithium Brine Project

Last week, Galan’s preliminary test results indicated the potential for a lithium-bearing aquifer at its Candelas Lithium Brine Project in Argentina.

Drilling is ongoing with drill hole C-02-19 encountering a fractured basement at 632 metres and was completed to a total depth of 662 metres.

Following drill hole C-02-19 a third hole, C-03-19, will also begin shortly.

Galan is compiling geological data from the previous two drill holes to re-calibrate the geophysical model.
