Petra Diamonds Limited (LON:PDL) told investors it had recovery a 100.83 carat D-Colour Type II gem quality diamond at its Cullinan Diamond Mine.
The recovery follows a recent recovery of a 6.12 carat Type II blue stone.
The shares were up 4.9% at 20.96p in afternoon trading.
2.00pm: Big Sofa plumps up after receiving strong support for share issue
Big Sofa Technologies Group PLC (LON:BST), a video analytics specialist, is to raise £1mln through the issue of shares.
Conditional subscriptions to raise £880,000 have already been received at 4p a pop.
The shares, which closed last night at 4.5p, were up 0.25p at 4.75p in afternoon trading.
The company also released results for 2018 that showed a 27% increase in revenues to £1.7mln from £1.3mln n 2017 and a narrower loss before tax of £3.4mln versus a loss the year before of £3.9mln.
1.15pm: More options granted to senior management sees R4E's shares head south
Reach4entertainment enterprises PLC (LON:R4E), the entertainment marketing communications group, saw its shares dip as it granted a shed-load of options to five senior managers.
More than 10mln options over shares have been granted to the top brass, including the chief executive officer, Marc Boyan.
Reach4entertainment’s board “recognises the importance of retaining and incentivising employees”; Boyan has been granted options over 4.33mln shares, taking the number of options he holds to almost 129mln, so if he was not incentivised or minded to stay and do the job for which he is paid before hand, he certainly will be now following the 3.5% increase in the number of options he holds.
The company’s shares fell 3.5% to 1.375p this morning.
12.30pm: Northamber issues cautious outlook statement
What computer products distributor Northamber PLC (LON:NAR) called its half-year report had a distinct whiff of the “could do better” about it.
The shares fell 5.1% to 28p as the company said that the commercial sector upon which its business-to-business offering is focused has been affected by what it called “the widespread malaise”.
The half-year pre-tax losss widened to £353,000 from a loss of £201,000 the year before, not helped by a supplier for significant new product area allegedly breaching its contract with Northamber.
11.45am: Chairman steps down at InfraStrata
Graham Lyon has stepped down as chairman of InfraStrata PLC(LON:INFA), the AIM-listed company focused on natural gas storage capacity.
Lyon has had the gig 16 months. John Wood, who is currently the chief executive officer, will take on the chairman’s duties until a successor is appointed.
The shares deflated to 0.915p from 0.92p overnight.
11.00am: GLI Finance edges higher as company calls EGM in Gurnsey
GLI Finance Limited (LON:GLIF) is to seek shareholders’ permission to continue to make market acquisitions of its redeemable zero dividend preference shares.
The shares were up 3.7% at 5.55p on the news.
10.15am: 7digital bids farewell to its CCO
The 7digital Group PLC (LON:7DIG) tune has had more chord changes this year than a Steely Dan song.
After rising yesterday on the back of a new partnership deal with Music Powered Games, the shares were off nearly 10% today at 1.375p as chief commercial officer and deputy chief executive officer Pete Downton resigned from the digital music solutions provider.
Musical differences?
7digital is not saying but Don Cruickshank, the company’s chairman said Downton was leaving with the company’s “very best wishes for his next move”.
9.30am: Brave Bison renews partnership with the PGA Tour
Social video company Brave Bison Group PLC (LON:BBSN) has renewed and expanded its strategic relationship with the PGA Tour, the professional golfers association.
Brave Bison will continue to work in collaboration with the tour's content teams to drive advertising revenue, increase organic views, and generate subscriber growth. Its services will include YouTube channel management, digital rights management, and content strategy development.
The shares stampeded – well, broke into a gallop – 4.8% higher to 3.25p.

Baron Oil (LON:BOIL) came off the boil after a disappointing result with the sidetrack well at the Colter prospect, in which it has an 8^ interest.
The operator, Corallian Energy, said the sidetrack well 98/11a-6Z encountered the top of the Sherwood Sandstone reservoir below the level of the 98/11-3 oil-water contact and did not penetrate the predicted fault bounding the target Colter prospect. The well will now be plugged and abandoned and the rig released.
Shares in Baron were down 59%.
