Strategic Elements completes extension to survey at Behemoth Project

The Ilkurkla Project in WA has recently been renamed the Behemoth Project.

Strategic Elements Ltd (ASX:SOR) has completed an extension to the previous induced polarisation (IP) survey over the buried magnetic ring feature at the Behemoth Project.

The objective of the IP survey is to detect potential buried zones of sulphides for potential deposits of nickel, copper, gold and platinum group elements (PGEs).

Further information is expected once the IP survey reporting has been completed.

If pre-drilling exploration continues to suggest a potential sulphide mineral deposit, drilling will be planned to test defined targets.

Experts are divided on the cause for large multi-ringed magnetic features.

Geophysical gravity surveys funded by the company recently identified large gravity anomalies buried within the multi-ringed magnetic ring features.

Notably, gravity anomalies are common to many of these models and examples of world-class mineral deposits exist.

Multi-ringed meteorite impact structures are well recognised globally to be associated with significant mineral resources.

The Behemoth Project is located within the Officer Basin of Western Australia.

Strategic is a unique ASX-listed company given its focus on both new printable memory technology and conglomerate-hosted gold exploration in the Pilbara.

On the technology side, the company aims to commercialise its printable nanocube memory ink, a breakthrough memory technology that can be printed onto a variety of surfaces and is flexible and transparent.

Most recently the company signed an agreement with the University of New South Wales (UNSW) to optimise a flexible, transparent Nanocube memory ink and showcase the technology through demonstrator applications.

The agreement was facilitated by a recent breakthrough at the CSIRO laboratories in Melbourne where device engineers greatly enhanced the rate of measurement of Nanocube Ink memory cells by developing a semi-autonomous testing code.
