Tietto Minerals’ drilling returns further high‐grade gold results in Côte d’Ivoire

The company remains on track to deliver an updated resource in late CY2018.

Tietto Minerals Ltd (ASX:TIE) has received further high‐grade gold results from step out drilling at its Abujar‐Gludehi deposit in Côte d’Ivoire.

The reverse circulation drilling returned wide intervals of gold mineralisation including:

• 14 metres at 9.12 g/t gold from 108 metres including 6 metres at 20.58 g/t gold; and

• 6 metres at 34.17 g/t gold from 238 metres including 2 metres at 85.34 g/t gold.

Importantly, the high-grade gold mineralisation is believed to be associated with plunging shoots and has been intersected in drilling along 1 kilometre of strike.

These results build on previously reported drill intercepts and demonstrate continuity of high‐grade gold mineralisation at depth and along strike below the current JORC resource.

It is worth noting that Abujar‐Gludehi has an inferred resource of 10.4 million tonnes at 2.1 g/t gold for 703,600 ounces of gold.

Tietto managing director Dr Caigen Wang said: “We are very pleased to report further wide high‐grade gold intercepts beneath the current resource area.

“We are making good progress towards a resource update targeting 300 metres below surface by the end of the year at Abujar‐Gludehi and intervals such as these will have a large impact on this update.

“Drilling continues on site as we push deeper to test the extensions of these high‐grade shoots.”

Next steps

As the wet season comes to an end, the tempo of drilling operations will increase and Tietto expects more drilling results in the coming weeks and months.

The company remains on track to deliver an update to the JORC resource in late CY2018 for both the AG deposit and the Abujar‐Pischon‐Golikro prospects.
