St George Mining Ltd (ASX:SGQ) continues to intersect massive nickel-copper sulphides at its Investigators prospect within the Mt Alexander Project near Leonora in Western Australia.
The latest hole MAD114 tested extensions to massive sulphides found in MAD108 and has successfully intersected a 13.03-metre interval.
Notably, preliminary grades from portable XRF testing averaged 7% nickel and 5.5% copper for the massive sulphides.

St George’s chairman John Prineas said: “We are very pleased that drilling continues to confirm the down-plunge continuity of mineralisation.
“With additional step-out drilling planned, we are optimistic of extending the plunge length of mineralisation even further than the very significant 320-metre extent seen on the MAD60 section so far.
High priority MAD111: X1 conductor to be drilled
“We are also excited to start drilling of the MAD111: X1 conductor, located some 230 metres east of the MAD60 section.
“This target, with a modelled northerly plunge of 80 metres, offers another excellent opportunity to establish a significant plunge of mineralisation in the down dip direction.”
Additional drilling planned to test extent of mineralisation
The intersection of massive sulphides in MAD114 further confirms the plunge of mineralisation on the MAD60 section to 320 metres towards the north.
MAD108 and MAD114 were large step-outs (110 metres) from the high-grade intersection in MAD60.
Additional drilling is being planned to test for further continuity of mineralisation in the down plunge direction.
The next step out hole planned on the MAD60 section will test for mineralisation 160 metres to the north of MAD114.
