Tlou Energy Ltd (LON:TLOU) has told investors that it is one of two companies that have been invited to re-tender for a coal-bed-methane fuelled power projects in Botswana. PowerHouse Energy Group Plc (LON:PHE), in a statement ahead of today’s AGM, told investors that it is on track with the engineering design for its DMG technology, which can convert waste plastics and used tyres into energy. “The generic Front End Engineering Design (FEED) Engineering is now complete, allowing initial safety design reviews and independent third party design reviews to be initiated on schedule,” the company said.

Greatland Gold plc (LON:GGP) has raised £2.65mln of new ‘strategic’ financing to allow an acceleration of exploration efforts at the Havieron and Black Hills prospects in Australia. It is issuing some 212mln new shares priced at 1.25p each.

i3 Energy PLC (LON:I3E) told investors on Friday that “significant progress” had been made with its proposed joint venture farm-in deal for the Liberator and Liberator West blocks in the UK North Sea. The oil and gas company said it expects to sign a legally binding farm-out agreement (FOA), a joint operating agreement (JOA) and other legal documentation with an unnamed firm before the end of the exclusivity period, which runs to September 24.

The so-called “put up or shut up” (PUSU) deadline for the prospective bid for Action Hotels PLC (LON:AHCG) has been extended to August 9. Under the terms of the UK Takeover Code, Action Group Holdings, which is mulling making an offer for Action Hotels, had been obliged to clarify its intentions by no later than 5.00pm today, but the Panel on Takeovers and Mergers has agreed to extend it by 13 days.

Cadence Minerals Plc (LON:KDNC) (OTC: KDNCY) said it is pleased to note that investee company Auroch Minerals (ASX:AOU) has received permitting approval to commence a maiden drilling programme at its Arden Base-metals Project in South Australia. Kibo Mining PLC (LON:KIBO) has announced that effective immediately, its new legal advisors for the Mbeya Coal to Power Project (MCPP) will be Hogan Lovells International LLP. replacing Norton Rose Fulbright (NRF). The firm said, after the senior partner responsible for the MCPP at NRF recently joined Hogan Lovells the company decided to follow to ensure continuity and stability in the ongoing sensitive legal work related to the MCPP PPA negotiations.
