Internet data handling specialist, Ethernity Networks PLC’s (LON:ENET) has attracted a first customer for its new programmable cloud-based data platform.
Chinese network firm Shenzen TiComm has chosen the platform to speed up and lower the cost of data network transactions.

“While this is the first customer for the innovative platform (that will be ready by Q4/18), we believe that this will be a winning platform for edge computing applications that will capture the interest of many other vendors,” said David Levi, Ethernity’s chief executive told Proactive.
Ethernity and TiCOMM will jointly showcase the solution at this month’s Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.

“It's a very powerful solution enabler,” said Liu Yu, TiCOMM's chief executive.
“The performance and features fit the requirements of SD-WAN very well. Ethernity's NIC-in-NID reduces the time-to-market of TiCOMM’s solution and improves our cost efficiency as well.”
SD-WAN solutions reduce network costs, improve the quality of interconnections and extend coverage scope.
