Avingtrans PLC (LON:AVG) has been awarded a US$6.7mln contract from Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power for pumps and spare parts.
Recent acquisition, Hayward Tyler, won the order and KHNP has now placed US$10mln worth of orders with the company since Avingtrans acquired it last September.

Hayward has been a supplier to KHNP for over 40 years but this is the largest order received to date.
KHNP generates approximately 40% of South Korea’s electric power and runs more than 20 operating nuclear plants.
Mike Turmelle, Hayward Tyler’s MD said: "This is a significant order for Hayward Tyler in the nuclear energy market. KHNP is a highly valued existing client and the size of this contract confirms HT's strong credentials in international energy markets.”
