DroneShield Ltd’s (ASX:DRO) DroneGun MKII has been assigned a NATO stock number, enabling NATO militaries to purchase the drone jammer off the shelf.
The 13-digit numeric code identifies the product as a standardised item of supply which is recognised by all NATO countries.
This allows any of the 29 NATO militaries to purchase DroneGun MKII on a military catalog basis, significantly simplifying the procurement process.

DroneGun MKII is a drone jammer providing a safe countermeasure against a wide range of drone models, allowing a controlled management of drone payload such as explosives.
The NATO stock number was assigned following a request for such assignment from the United States Department of Defense.
Earlier this month, DroneShield launched RadarZero, a compact drone detection radar product that is now fully commercialised and available for purchase.

At roughly the size of a paperback book, the product can detect drones up to 750 metres away and is much more affordable than the larger longer-range more conventional radars.
RadarZero complements DroneShield’s existing longer-range RadarOne product.
The company is offering it both as a standalone product and as part of the DroneSentinel drone detection and DroneSentry drone detection and mitigation platforms.
