DroneShield Ltd (ASX:DRO) has launched RadarZero, a revolutionary compact drone detection radar product that is now fully commercialised and available for purchase.
At roughly the size of a paperback book, the product can detect drones up to 750 metres away and is much more affordable than the larger longer-range more conventional radars.
RadarZero is also more portable than larger devices.
Complementary to longer range product, RadarOne
RadarZero complements DroneShield’s existing longer-range RadarOne product.
The company is offering it both as a standalone product and as part of the DroneSentinel drone detection and DroneSentry drone detection and mitigation platforms.
RadarZero does not replace DroneShield’s existing RadarOne module/product, rather it is offered as an alternative for relevant users and environments.
Highly portable and light
The new device weighs only 1.25 kilograms, making it a product much better suited where users need high mobility.
While lighter, RadarZero maintains a high quality of performance, providing 120 degree coverage unit, implying three units can provide complete coverage.
It also has the ability to acquire 3D data.
