Churchill China PLC (LON:CHH) saw its shares rise on Wednesday after the manufacturer and distributor of ceramic tableware issued a bullish trading update.
In a brief statement for the year to 31 December 2017, the AIM listed firm said its revenue growth has again been good in export markets and, as a result, it now expects that its operating performance will be slightly ahead of current market estimates.

Churchill China said that, additioanlly, its cash and deposit balances are also expected to exceed current market expectations.
The group concluded: “We have continued to make solid progress against our long term objectives throughout 2017.”
The company intends to announce its preliminary results for the year to 31 December 2017 on 27 March 2018.
In mid morning trading, Churchill China shares were nearly 3.5% higher at 1,195p.
