Adobe Systems Inc. (NASDAQ:ADBE) saw its shares make further gains in premarket trade after its fourth quarter results beat market consensus for both sales and earnings.
Shares in the software company had shot up 3.5% to US$181.23 after hours following the results on Thursday.

The company said that its fiscal fourth-quarter net income came in at US$501.6mln or US$1 a share, sharply higher from the US$399.6mln or 80 US cents a share, posted in the corresponding period a year ago.
Adjusted earnings stood at US$1.26 a share while revenue came in at US$2.01bn, again higher from the US$1.61bn posted a year ago.
The market had pencilled in adjusted earnings of US$1.16 a share on revenue of US$1.95bn.
In premarket trade, Adobe shares were up 1.66% at US$175.00.
