Nature Group and OneView Group shares plunge

A look at the biggest risers and fallers of UK small caps

Nature Group Plc (LON:NGR) shares tanked 52.63% to 3.38p as it said it was “working hard to improve the efficiency of its business” and to meet the demands of the “challenging market in which it operates”.

The group said there had been a recent delay to a significant contract and the absence of new contracts in its oil and gas division. It said this was “further evidence of the difficulties that the company will continue to face as it endeavours to improve the performance of its existing operations and to widen its product offerings”.

“Therefore, as well as immediately implementing further reduction in operational cost as well as the group overhead, the board is also exploring opportunities to strengthen its balance sheet and the financial position of the company."

OneView plunges on wider annual loss

OneView Group plc (LON:ONEV) plunged 46.67% to 2.0p as it reported a wider annual loss and announced a fundraising.

The software provider saw its loss before tax increase to US$3.4mln in the year to 31 March, from US$3.16mln the previous year. Revenue fell to US$3.13mln from US$8.11mln.

The group announced a fundraising of £3.9m at a share price of 1.5p to improve its cash position.

Yolo Leisure & Technology climbs as it swings to first half profit

Yolo Leisure & Technology shares climbed after the investment firm swung to a profit in the first half.

Pre-tax profit came to £62,053 in the six months ended March 31, compared to a loss of £439,418 the prior year. Income rose to £17,096 from £7,000.

The company said it expects revenues for the 2017/18 financial year to be in excess of £5mln following recent high profile signings.

Yolo’s portfolio includes home entertainment technology company, Magic Meda Works, which has licensing agreements with major record labels, including Universal Music Group, Sony Music Group and Warner Music Group.

The current net asset value of Yolo is estimated at £7mln, or 1.5p per share, which is 186% above the midmarket closing price yesterday.

Shares rose 4.95% to 0.551p in afternoon trading.

Richland Resources rises on exclusivity and supply agreement

Richland Resources Ltd (LON:RLD) was up 13.89% to 1.02p as the gemstones producer said its subsidiary, Capricorn Sapphire Pty, entered into an exclusivity and supply agreement with Royal Touch.

Under the deal, Capricorn Sapphire will supply Royal Touch with all of the company's heated green sapphires on an exclusive basis for the majority of the size fractions.

12.03pm:Mayan Energy on the back foot

Mayan Energy Limited (LON:MYN) slumped as the oil and gas company announced a £587,000 fundraise and the departure of its chairman Ross Warner.

Shares dropped 42.11% to 0.275p.

Mayan placed 195,833,333 new ordinary shares at a price of 0.3p per subscription share, a 37.5% discount to the closing mid-market price yesterday.

The company will use some of the proceeds for its £300,000 investment in Block Energy plc, an oil and gas firm with interests primarily in Georgia.

Proceeds will also be used for ongoing working capital for US operations.

At the same time, the group announced Warner will resign as chairman and will be replaced by Charlie Wood.

Mosman Oil And Gas slips

Mosman Oil And Gas Limited (LON:MSMN) fell 12.07% to 1.275p after saying that it was working to increase production of 27 wells at its Strawn project in Texas after having to conduct repairs.

The company had to remove two pump jacks, which have been repaired and reinstalled on the well heads.

“Mosman confirms that workovers have started, and the first workover involved the installation of a new pump,” it said in a statement. “The workover rig remains onsite and additional workovers are planned for the coming week.”

European Metals rallies as it declares maiden ore reserve in Czech Republic

European Metals Holdings Limited (LON:EMH) shares rose 1.55% to 49.25p as it declared a maiden ore reserve for the Cinovec lithium-tin deposit in the Czech Republic.

The reserve comes in at 34.5mln tonnes of ore grading 0.65% lithium oxide.

The company also announced an A$2mln interim funding package that will “maintain momentum” behind the project.

BCA Marketplace shares rise after full year results

BCA Marketplace (LON:BCA) shares rose 3.46% to 201.75 after the used vehicle dealer posted an increase in full year revenue and earnings.

Adjusted underlying earnings (EBITDA) in the year to 2 April increased to £135.6mln from £98.5mln the previous year. Revenue was £2.02bn, up from £1.15bn a year ago, driven by outsourced remarketing contracts, webuyanycar.com and acquisitions.

The dividend was lifted to 6.75p from 6.0p.

0902am: Zoo Digital gains as it swings to full year profit

Zoo Digital Group plc (LON:ZOO) gained after the digital distribution and subtitling services provider swung to a full year profit as revenue grew on the back of an increase in client numbers.

Shares rose 12.20% to 11.50p in early trading.

Profit before tax in the year to 31 March 2017 came to US$0.5mln, compared to a loss of US$1.5mln the previous year.

Revenue jumped 42% to US$16.5mln from US$11.6mln, as the group won new clients, including six major Hollywood studios and other producers of feature film and episodic TV programmes in North America and Europe.

“With continuing momentum for the Group's existing tools and a number of exciting new solutions to clients' localisation and security needs, the board looks to the current year and beyond with confidence,” said chief executive, Stuart Green.

Blue Prism edges higher as first half revenue soars

Blue Prism Group plc (LON:PRSM) shares increased 7.26% to 827.0p after the robot automation specialist achieved a jump in first half sales and customer numbers.

Recognised revenues surged 133% to £9.3mln (H1 2016: £4mln) in the six months to 30 April 2017, as the group secured 209 deals during the period.

However, the group recorded an adjusted underlying loss (EBITDA) of £2.7mln (H1 2016: £1.4mln) as it ramped up investments in its marketing efforts.

Galileo Resources on the back foot

Galileo Resources PLC (LON:GLR) shares declined12.8% to 5.125p after saying the sample analysis programme following the drilling programme at its Concordia copper project will take a bit longer than expected.

Consultants are converting current and historical data to a unified grid coordinates system and about three-fifths of assay results have been received from the drilling programme.

The processing of the remaining samples is on hold pending the outcome of the results undergoing quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) checks.

Saffron Energy shares dip on delays to grant

Saffron Energy plc (LON:SRON) was under the cosh after the natural gas producer said that its application for a full production concession of its Sant'Alberto field in Italy was taking longer than expected.

The company is awaiting the granting of an Intesa agreement from the Emilia Romagna regional government after which the Ministry of Economic Development in Rome will issue the production concession.

Shares fell 12.82% to 4.25p.

Shares in Gemfields PLC (LON:GEM) slumped on Tuesday after Pallinghurst Resources revealed it has enough support from shareholders to push ahead with its plans to de-list the emerald and ruby miner.
