IronRidge Resources Ltd (LON:IRR) has confirmed that it is expanding its footprint, taking on three exclusive gold applications in the Ivory Coast.

The company’s partnership with Eburnea Gold Resources and Kestrel Mining Exploration is now unconditional.

It gives the company exposure to 1,200 square kilometres, including some 75 kilometres of strike length along a significant mineralised structure that’s known to host multi-million ounce gold projects nearby.

Vincent Mascolo, Ironridge chief executive said: 'Our enlarged gold portfolio is highly prospective and securing these additional gold applications demonstrates our commitment to the Ivory Coast and highlights the upside potential we see in this region.”

Higher production at the New Luika gold mine in Tanzania boosted Shanta Gold Limited's (LON:SHG) margins in its latest quarter. Gold produced rose 7% to 20,416 ounces compared to the preceding three months, while cash generated was US$6.6mln.

Braveheart Investment Group PLC (LON:BRH), the fund manager and strategic investor, confirmed the business had continued to perform in line with its January trading statement meaning it will post a profit in the region of £750,000 for the year to March 31.

Kibo Mining PLC (LON:KIBO) has announced a partnership with Mbeya Cement Company, a LaFarge subsidiary in Tanzania, as the AIM quoted firm moves forward with the Mbeya Coal to Power Project (MCPP).

Ebiquity plc (LON:EBQ), the marketing and media analytics specialist, has announced the UK launch of Portfolio Digital - a new platform designed to monitor online display advertising. It follows the successful roll-out of the technology in Australia at the start of the year.

Last year was one of ‘outstanding achievement’, according to John Horsburgh, chairman of Mariana Resources (LON:MARL, CVE:MARL), who Thursday provided his commentary alongside the financial results for 2016.

Bid target Hayward Tyler PLC (LON:HAYD) returned to profit in the second half of its trading year and will now break even on an underlying basis. Revenue for the year to March will be around £63mln, said the motors and pumps group, which is in line with expectations revised down after a warning in October.

Middle East and Australia-focused Action Hotels PLC (LON:AHCG) has told investors it has enjoyed a “solid” start to 2017. Trading since the turn of the year has been strong, the company said, with total revenues 14% ahead compared to the same period last year.

Nevada-focused oil junior US Oil & Gas PLC (USOP) has raised US$295,713 of new capital via a placing of shares to private investors.

Nostra Terra Oil and Gas Company plc (LON:NTOG) has raised £500,000 through a placing of shares to investors. The company is issuing 25mln new shares at a price of 2p.

Zimbabwe-based gold miner Caledonia Mining Corporation PLC (LON:CMCL) is on track to hit targets this year as quarterly production at the 49%-owned Blanket mine rose by 18%.
