Tlou Energy says no earthquake damage has been reported at Lesedi project in Botswana

Tlou Energy Limited (LON:TLOU) has told investors that no earthquake damage has been reported at the Lesedi coal bed methane project in Botswana.

In a brief statement the company said that the epicentre of Monday’s earthquake, which measured 6.5 on the Richter scale, was in a region close to the Lesedi area.

Tlou’s operations team have reported no damage to Tlou’s field camp, production testing or monitoring operations at this stage, it added.

The company said it continues to monitor the situation as it unfolds and will provide updates if required.
