Ceres Power PLC (LON:CPW) has built up a significant head of steam moving into the second-half of its financial year. For its next-generation steel fuel cell technology is gaining traction with manufacturers, including Honda, Nissan and Fortune 500 engineer Cummins, which is translating into financial success.

Payments specialist Bango plc (LON:BGO) has launched the next generation of its data insights product for merchants. The new product from the company, whose primary business is to provide a payments platform for mobile phone users, allows major app stores and merchants to increase sales through targeted marketing.

Shares in Angus Energy Plc (LON:ANGS) rose 10% after the company provided a positive update on its Brockham re-entry oil well, just down the road from Horse Hill, home of the Gatwick gusher. The company said the Kimmeridge and other formations appear to be the same in structure to the oil-bearing Kimmeridge sections of the Horse Hill-1 well.

ANGLE PLC (LON:AGL, OTCQX:ANPCY) said its Parsortix technology for harvesting circulating tumour cells had shown some early promise in helping researchers identify women with malignant ovarian tumours.

Waste-to-energy firm Powerhouse Energy Group PLC (LON:PHE) surged higher after it revealed a demonstration gasification system is on its way from down under. Its G3-UHt Ultra-high temperature demonstration gasification system has left the harbour in Brisbane, Australia, and should be docking in Blighty in about 50 days’ time.

Nostra Terra Oil and Gas Company plc (LON:NTOG) has acquired more of the Pine Mills oil field, in Texas, and it could potentially take full ownership in the coming weeks. The company has bought an additional 7.5% working interest (WI) in Pine Mills from GFP Texas Inc, paying US$200,000 in cash.

Atlantis Resources PLC (LON:ARL) has signed a memorandum of understanding with Ideol, a specialist in floating wind power technology, as it develops the non-tidal side of its renewable power business.

Marketing analytics group Ebiquity plc (LON:EBQ) expects to increase dividends again in 2017 after a brisk start to the year’s trading. “2017 has seen a noticeable pick up in new business activity and consequently the company has better revenue visibility as compared with the prior year,” the statement said.

Petropavlovsk PLC (LON:POG) met its revised production guidance in 2016 and expects gold output to rebound by between 1 - 6% in 2017. The Russian gold miner revised its estimate for 2016 in December due to severe weather closing the Andreevskaya mine in the Far East province.

Intellectual property commercialisation specialist Tekcapital PLC (LON:AIM) is seeking to raise up to £2.4mln through a share placing. The company said it is intended to place the shares at 35p a share. Tekcapital’s shares closed at 34p yesterday, down 2p on the day.

The recovery at ClearStar, Inc. (LON:CLST) continues after the personnel background-checker confirmed it expects to hit market expectations for the year just gone. ClearStar told investors on Thursday that it is forecasting revenues of not less than US$16mln for the year to 31 December 2016.

The latest drill results from Goldstone Resource's Homase/Akrokerri gold project in Ghana show the potential for increasing the resource there, Stratex International plc (LON:STI) told investors. Among the highlights from three diamond holes was a 23.3 metre intersection at a grade of 1.39 g/t (grams per ton) from a depth of 170 metres.

Proton therapy systems developer Advanced Oncotherapy PLC (LON:AVO) has brought in two new non-executive directors, while another has stood down from his post with immediate effect. The one standing down is Tim Lebus, who is making way for the addition of Steve Myers and Hans von Celsing to the board.

Cloud-based data analytics specialist Rosslyn Data Technologies PLC (LON:RDT) said its “land and expand” customer acquisition strategy is working well. TRI now becomes the preferred supplier of gasification systems to Velocys, as the AIM-quoted firm advances its biomass gas-to-liquids (BTL) plants.

Pantheon Resources Plc (LON:PANR) says it has hit a potentially significant reservoir in the VOBM-2H prospect in east Texas. The well has now been drilled to a depth of 16,450 feet, and confirmed the presence of hydrocarbons in the primary target, the Eagle Ford sandstone.

Avesoro Resources Inc (LON:ASO) expects production from its New Liberty gold mine in Liberia to rise to between 90,000 to 100,000oz in 2017. Cash costs will be around US$750 - US$800 per ounce and between US$925 - US$975 on all in sustaining basis.

Hydrogen fuel firm ITM Power plc (LON:ITM) says its raised £5.7 million via an accelerated bookbuild as demand and interest for its products continues to grow. The firm placed shares at 17p a share with existing and new institutional investors - that's a slight discount to yesterday's closing price of 17.625p.
