Operator European Metals Holding (LON:EMH) is drilling at Cinovec and its two latest holes indicated lithium oxide at an average grade of 0.4% over 226m and 243m.

Both holes hit the metal at less than 10m down.

In addition, tin and tungsten was intersected in the upper part of both drill holes.

Metal Tiger PLC (LON:MTR) received a vote of confidence from its former boss, Paul Johnson, as he exercised options to buy 3mln shares at 2p per share – a premium to yesterday’s close of 1.95p.

Savannah Resources Plc (LON:SAV) has defined an initial mineral sands resource at its projects in Mozambique comprising over 3.5 billion tonnes of material.

The Mutamba project, which was previously operated by Rio Tinto, is now known to contain 81mln tonnes of ilmenite, 2.2mln tonnes of rutile, and 3.8mln tonnes of zircon.

More than half of the newly established JORC resource has been calculated in the indicated category, giving a higher degree of certainty as to accuracy.

Initial assay results from the Mahenge Liandu graphite property in Tanzania are “very encouraging” according to William Frewen, the chairman of Armadale Capital PLC (LON:ACP).

Among the best intercepts were 42 metres at 10.2 total graphitic carbon (TGC), including 18 metres at 14.5% from a depth of six metres, and 32 metres at 9.3% TGC, including four metres at 22% TGC.

San Leon Energy PLC (LON:SLE) told investors it has settled a number of disputes with Avobone relating to projects in Poland.

As a result the company will make payments to Avobone - for the final award in a 2015 international arbitration – amounting to €23.3 million plus interest.

In the tech sector, Dr Arnab Basu, chief executive officer of radiation detection specialist Kromek Group PLC (LON:KMK), will join Theresa May on her first foreign jaunt since becoming Prime Minister.

eSports specialist Gfinity Plc (LON:GFIN) has reported a 158% rise in revenues, helping narrow losses in what it said was a highly successful year.

Gfinity generated £1.45mln of revenue in the twelve months ended June 30, up 158% from £560,000 last year, and its operating loss reduced by 12% to £3.2mln. The overall loss for the year amounted to £3.03mln, compared to £3.58mln the year before.

The company ended the financial year with £83,000 of cash, though some £3.7mln was raised in July.

Venn Life Sciences Holdings plc (LON:VENN) has won a €2.5mln contract for a phase III trial for a new application of the anaesthetic isoflurane.

Full-year results from fuel cell developer Ceres Power Holdings PLC (LON:CWR) showed strong growth in revenue and a burgeoning order book.

The year to 30 June was one in which the company secured three new partnerships with big name companies.

“Honda, Nissan and Cummins are market leaders in their respective fields, and we are engaged with them all in developing different applications using the SteelCell [fuel cell platform],” said Alan Aubrey, in his chairman’s statement.

Revenue and other income (mainly government grants) in the financial year just ended rose to £1.7mln from £945,000 the year before. Of this, £1.1mln was customer revenue, up from £324,000 the previous year.

Continued strong trading in the Americas and Asia Pacific regions means that full-year earnings at Telit Communications Plc (LON:TCM) will likely come in at the mid-to-upper end of the previous guidance range.

The Internet of Things (IoT) specialist told investors today (Tuesday) that it expects to report adjusted EBITDA (underlying earnings) for the year to end December of between US$54mln and US$59mln.
