Cloud-based data analytics specialist Rosslyn Data Technologies PLC (LON:RDT) has bagged a US$407,000 contract with a Fortune 100 company.
The two-year contract, with a US-based global media company, is worth US$257,500 (£200,000) in the first year, Rosslyn revealed. The contract has an option to extend beyond the term as well as the capability of having additional professional services added to it during the contract life.
Rosslyn's RAPid platform will simplify how the customer consolidates and manages its data, thus delivering important information faster to decision makers within the firm.
Rosslyn’s chief executive, Roger Bullen, said winning the contract with such a high profile client and been a “competitive and demanding process”.
"Our focus on the US market is starting to deliver a number of opportunities and this extremely important win demonstrates the demand for our services in the US. Being selected by this global company, shows that our RAPid Cloud Analytics Platform is the technology of choice for companies serious about leveraging the value of their data in order to improve business performance,” Bullen said.
“This win underpins the progress we are making in increasing our average annual contract value which is now over £75,000 compared to the £50,000 at IPO,” he added.
Shares in Rosslyn rose 2.6% to 9.75p on the news.
