Medical imaging specialist Feedback plc (LON:FDBK) saw sharply reduced losses and better-than-expected cash generation in the year to the end of May.
Loss before tax narrowed to £251,219 from £1.2mln the year before, when losses were inflated by a £689,142 write-down on the value of intangible assets.
Revenue grew to £431,454 from £381,90 the previous year.
Sector peer Kromek Group PLC (LON:KMK) has completed the delivery of an initial 10,000 personal D3S radiation detectors to a US Department of Defense agency.
The D3S devices were delivered in support of the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency’s (DARPA’s) SIGMA programme, which is aimed at preventing attacks using so-called radiological dirty bombs, and other nuclear threats across the globe.
Sticking with the tech theme, Internet of Things (IoT) and cloud services investor Tern PLC (LON:TERN) has invested a further £2mln into Device Authority, taking its stake in the cyber security firm to nearly 57%.
Device Authority will use the funds to expand its sales and marketing teams to meet the increased demand it’s seeing from the industrial and healthcare IoT markets, Tern said.

The gene editing specialist said the partner will be given immediate access to Horizon's cutting-edge Null CHO K1 bioproduction cell line indefinitely for use in making new drugs.

Hurricane Energy Plc (LON:HUR) on Tuesday unearthed another hugely positive update from its very large North Sea oil project.
Lancaster’s latest well, a horizontal side-track from Hurricane’s recently drilled pilot, achieved a sustained flow rate of 14,500 barrels of oil per day using an electrical submersible pump, with no formation water.
Significantly, the 14,500 bopd rate was the maximum allowed by the testing equipment so the full extent of the well’s possible flow could not be measured.

Circle Oil Plc’s (LON:COP) debt problem is coming to a head now that lender Circle Link has called for repayment of US$20mln plus interest by November 15.
The Egypt-focussed oil firm, which has US$7.3mln of cash and US$77.5mln of debt, said in a brief stock market statement that it was in talks with Circle Link and the International Finance Corporation, its principal lender.

In the logistics world, Stobart Group PLC (LON:STOB) is taking tighter control of its airline and aircraft leasing businesses in a two-part deal with the City investor Invesco Asset Management.
It has agreed to pay £12mln for 33.3% of Propius, the leasing operation, taking its holding to 66.6%.
It is also handing over £500,000 to Invesco for a stake of up to 40% of Everdeal, the holding company for Stobart Air. As a result it will own up to 80% of the regional carrier, which operates out of Dublin in the Aer Lingus livery.
Avation PLC's (LON:AVAP) latest metrics on its fleet of planes showed the company was realising its strategy of using lower age aircraft with long remaining lease terms.
The average aircraft fleet age at the end of September this year was 3.2 years (5.4 years in 2015).
The remaining lease term as a weighted average was 7.4 years compared to 5.9 years as at September last year, while all of its 38 strong fleet was in use.
